for Nena

Again this is lonely day,
and I am really sad,
the world outside is grey and dark
and all seems to be dead

The only one to break that curse
That is a little girl.
She`s on my mind on day and night
I wish she would be here.

She‘s far away now, much too far,
too far to take a train,
And all my hope is that in spring
She will be in my arms

And when she’s here, we shall make love,
I'll clunge in sweetest rage
Will have a look in paradise
When two souls melt in one

But all my dreams will be fullfilled,
when she is living here
when this will be the home for her
then you may call this my „home“.

Again this is a lonely day,
the winter is too long
but spring will come up in few weeks
and she will come.

And when she stays and winter comes
It will be a great change for me,
The end of all this lonelyness
For all the rest of my life.

Come Spring...

When Spring is come ~ She will appear ~ an end to loneliness will then be in sight. Lovely sentimental rendering.

~~

Impressive feeling well conveyed

Especially when it's English as a second language.
