Power surging inside my soul,
The distant darkness is my goal.

It wraps me in its sweet embrace,
The warmth it gives is truly grace.

Within that darkness I search to find,
The magic in my hearts confine.

I wrap it around me and cherish it so,
With me it stays forever I know.

It’s like sweet sugar to my mind,
Sweet and blissful, ever kind.

Within this bliss I find my strength,
I conquer enemies and lands without length.

For as it’s known, the dark paths I tread,
There are those whose friendships mean more instead.

With their strength I fight for them,
My loyalties lie deep within.

My magic lies true and stead,
My love for it is never dead.

The spells I cast grow stronger each day
The power I crave not even I can say.

The joy it gives is pure ecstasy,
From where it comes only I can see.

My lords and masters I obey to the end,
Yet this magic inside seems my only true friend.

With it I live, without it I die,
Foolishness some say, yet to them I sigh.

You who have not experienced the joy I have told,
All seem so confident and bold.

Yet watch yourself, for you have not the key,
In your souls you’re scared of those like me.

We posses a strength of which you can only dream,
A power that’s strong, yet sweet and serene.

Into your battles, go and engage,
But never forget the power of a Mage!
