You say you love me
You say you need me
Say we will always be
Forever just you and me
Believe it or not
I want to trust you
Want it to be true
And still here I stand hesitating

You are reaching your hand out for me
Hands begging me
To have faith in you
To come for you
But still I am stuck
Stuck at this point
Where I can’t go any further
Without breaking down
Something is holding me back
Pulling me back from you
I don’t know what it is
What to do

I hear your voice
Words promising me everything
But something inside of me
Is screaming no
Please let me go
It wants to run away
Turn my back on everything

But that I can’t do
As seeing tears in your eyes
Makes me finally realise
That whatever I’ll do
Wherever I’ll go
Whomever I’ll be with
Your hand will always be reached out for me
You’ll always be there for me
So I will trust in the you and I
