A foot is pushed into
A leather clad shoe ........
A soul enters
A leather clad body
A person is born...........
A foot is taken out
Of a leather shoe
Without any fuss
But when a soul
Leaves a leather clad body
All commotion breaks loose ?!?!
"Alas ! " " what woe has befallen us "
"He is no more !"............................

I like that this shows the weight and value we tend to put into a soul once it is gone.

This is imaginative. Nice balance in the contrasts of it made it work for me. "Leather clad body" great word play.
