I ask myself how it might be...

To share the bed with a girl at night,
To feel her tender, warm embrace,
Her head being pillow'd at my side,
And peacefully behold her face.
How might it be to feel her breathe,
The swell and fall of her soft breast,
The warmth of an angel underneath,
Of God's creation the very best?!

I ask myself how it might be...

To hear her say:"I love thee, dear!",
And feel her sweetest, loving kiss,
The taste of lips that drown all fear
In a stormy wavering sea of bliss.
How might it be to kiss a maid,
And share with her so mighty a feeling,
Mightier e'en than evil and hate,
Her tender touch so joyful a healing?!

I ask myself how it might be...

To read a poem written for me,
A sonnet, a very letter of Love,
Which's gentle, caring task shall be,
My slowly dying heart to move.
How might it be to read that script,
Its lines being written by female feather,
Drawing my soul out of its crypt
Into the daylight and shiny weather?!

I ask myself how it might be...

To feel a tender lady's Love,
Her kisses and her tight embrace,
The touches of her hands which prove:
Love's not only expressed in the face.
How might it be to sleep with a girl,
And to offer her my virginity,
Sacrificing that precious pearl
As a charitable gift for infinity?!

I ask myself how that might be.
