Click hereDawn brought the beginning of our year on Cardoza. A hundred people and at least a hundred animals met us on the dock at noon. They led us to our home and stayed. Lace started work immediately and I set about getting our home in order. At midnight she walked into the house, dirty, tired and glowing.
"I've tended at least twenty animals and helped four goats give birth. I am the vet! Can you help me get clean and into a bed?"
I was ready. Soaps, hot water and scrubbing completed I joined her in bed and as I kissed her she fell asleep. I held her in my arms and knew it would be a year to remember.
EXCELLANT story. It is one that will be easy to remember and tie to your name.
Thank you for sharing your work!
If I taught a course on relationships, this story would be first on the reading list.
What happens after the year is over? I would love for Lace and Nick to stay married.
