Literotica Audio Publishing Guidelines

This document focuses on requirements for publishing audio stories. If you need general publishing help, please see the Publishing FAQ. Our Content Guidelines provide a list of content we do not publish. Story and Artwork guidelines are also available.

If you’re reading this, you likely have an erotic audio you’d like to publish on Literotica. We’d be happy to help you join the ranks of Literotica Audio Producers. Please read the guidelines below to make sure that your work gets published as quickly and easily as possible.

To publish audio on Literotica, you must certify the following stipulations to be true:

  • You’re 18 years of age or older and legally able to write, record, publish, read, and listen to erotic material;
  • All participants in the production of the audio work are 18 years of age or older, have consented to the production, and are legally able to produce erotic content;
  • You’re the creator/producer of the work, you own the copyright, and you grant Literotica the legal rights to publish the submitted work;
  • Your work does not contain any nonpublishable content as defined in our Content Guidelines;
  • You grant Literotica the right to use all legal means available to protect your published work from unauthorized use by other parties.

Easy Steps To Becoming A Published Literotica Audio Creator

  1. You Must Be A Member To Publish on Literotica
    Join Literotica (it’s free) or Login if you’re already a member (see our Membership FAQ).

  2. Minimum Runtime
    Audio works published on Literotica should be a minimum of one minute in length. There is no maximum time limit.

  3. File Formats
    Literotica accepts uploads of standard audio file formats (M4A, MP3, OGG, WAV, etc.) with a maximum file size of 256mb. See the Literotica Audio Encoding Specs for more information.

  4. Content Policies
    In addition to our sitewide Content Guidelines, Audio Works have the following specific policies:
    a. We do not publish nonconsent audio works (even fictional). All sexual activity in audio works must be between consenting adults 18 years of age or older.
    b. We do not publish real life voyeur audio. Everyone heard in audio works must have consented to being in the production.

  5. Text Published With Audio
    Audio published on Literotica contains a block of text right above the audio player. This field is required, but we do not have a minimum word count for “Text Published With Audio”. Uses for this text field by authors include a short description (example), author notes to listeners (example), and publishing actual story text and audio scripts (example).   6. Submit Your Work
