Such a great story, marred by a ping pong POV. You need to choose a POV and stick to it. Every time you switched POV it stopped the action and emotion of the story, distracting the reader. You have such a strong lyrical voice. Your characters are real, so please don't take long for your next story. I'm looking forward to it!

I have to say. I'm pretty much in love with this story. I liked how you gave both points of view because it made it easy to think of both Devlin and Joel as being the main characters and not one being more important than the other. I love how your view of a character (or a person) changes the more you learn about them. Both Devlin and Joel 'looked' completely different to me at the end of the story than they did at the beginning, and I liked the change. I loved the combination of sexy-hot love scenes and the show of feelings from both of them. I think that, (as opposed to all sex and nothing else) makes the best erotic stories. But that's just my opinion. I would definitely be interested in hearing more about these two guys!

Seriously. That was... Awesome... Damn, I actually can't think of a single thing to say that hasn't already been said. I loved the characters; they felt real and I could actually imagine them. The emotions were just right; I found myself feeling a lot of their emotions with them, which is great. The story line was believable, unlike a lot of the stories I've read on here, which makes me immensely happy. And the love scenes were so hot and steamy, I got a little (okay, a lot) excited. But this last one -where they claim their love- was so sweet and emotion-packed that I actually felt as if I was spying on something so personal, it should have been private. This is definitely one of my favorites. You guys collaborate well together.

All in all, though, I really, really loved this series. I'd love it if you'd post the second one on here. You've made my day with this one. (Okay, so it took me several days to read all the chapters, but it still made my day. Especially with the happy ending.)

So many wonderful parts, love the shifting POV and clear distinct voice of each main character. Would love to have them in my life for real, maybe as next door neighbours. Fantastic to see that a sequel can be bought. I am heading over there now to get it ASAP.

This story just goes to show how little, stupid mistakes can so easily submarine a relationship. Thankfully Joel and Dev took the time to own up to what they did, come to an understanding and work it out to both their advantages.

The story could indeed be wonderful, Tom definitely has a talent. An almost perfect combination of explicit sexual scenes and slowly unfolding world of growing feelings.

Plus intimate thoughts and great jokes and dialogues.

However I have my reservation about the last chapters - it IS pity that you did not finish the story with the co-author you were with in the beginning. Your later co-authors and editors were all females and it is felt very strongly. I am afraid their influence has utterly ruined what could be a real treasure of men's erotica.

The later chapters of this story feel al lot like another female author's attempt to describe a psychological world of a Man - this kind of "creativity" you can see in the Jean Awell’s ridiculous series about Ayla ("Clan of the Cave Bear" and all its sequels).

The Devlin character which used to be so captivatingly erotic and manly and whose emotional evolution was so natural in the first parts got turned into wimping bottom-boy full of stupidest regrets and utterly un-grounded self-accusations. Finally he ended in a position of a sub totally deprived of any man’s trait. Un-interesting and dull.

The Joel character, which was so charming and really worthy losing one's heart for in the beginning ended up with a scent of a possessive housewife.

It all feels like female fantasies about effeminizing a man and getting power to the hands of a ‘natural sissy’.

I understand this has already been done to the heterosexual society in the satanized western world where a strong White Christian man is the most oppressed member of society now. But lately they seem to have started to ruin manly images even within the homosexual part of society.

That’s bad, Tom, and because of this I will surely re-read the first chapters of your great story but will never re-read the later ones that you have written with the ‘aid’ of that female circle.

(Note: a ‘macho’ does not necessarily mean a ‘dumb-ass’ and if the authors have only had an experience with strong men that are also stupid or totally insensate than let me express my condolences.

Note #2: I myself am a 'sissy' bottom boy, so it's just an outsife perspective.)
