June 8, 2024: My new story will hit your newsstand in the early hours of tomorrow (Eastern US time): Part 1 of "Marcia Writes a Porn Story." Part 2, which concludes my story, should appear about a week later.
Compared with other Literotica writers, I've been stingy with biographical details ... so here are a few more. I'm old enough to remember fondly the so-called Sexual Revolution of the late 1960s, early 1970s--and I remain a supporter in the hostile time of today. I've spent a good amount of my life in the academic world and some time in private industry. I've been writing fiction only for about three years, and I'm very much enjoying the activity.
All fiction includes a dimension of rhetoric. Inevitably, my stories present some human values and actions as admirable (men treating women as their equals, for example) and some as bad (possessiveness, inequality, sexism). Is it possible to write good erotic stories that advance such nontraditional values? And would anyone read them? Stories in which no "bitches" are "burned," and a departure from sexual exclusiveness does not transform a woman into a "whore"? Well, that's what I'm attempting, anyway. Along with some other writers.

Thoughtful negative comments are appreciated too. Mindless sneers, out-of-control rants, and--here's a new prohibition--proclamations of how much you hate all "cucks" and "whores" will be deleted.
