Natalie wakes up the next morning with the sheet draped around her hips and with a surprisingly clear head. She looks around and finds that the apartment is somewhere close to being presentable with the cigarette butts and pizza boxes wrapped up neatly in garbage bags and kept by the door. Adrian is nowhere to be seen and neither are his clothes or bag. She gets up slowly and walks towards the kitchen counter to find a note that reads
"Restocked the Coronas. Took the beef jerky, I'll pay you back next time ;-) "
No words of wisdom or goodbye. He just took what he wanted; like he always has. Natalie shook her head and let out a genuine laugh; her first in weeks. She looked at the counter again and found a few rolled up cigarettes of weed, she picked one up and lit it using the kitchen gas, took a long drag and smiled care-free and genuinely happy thinking about the man who was responsible for it.

Anonymousover 8 years agoStarted reading the story, with one eyes shut, half asleep and ended the story with a raging hardon, at three in the morning. Too bad it ended quickly, when I really started to enjoy it.
Like all good movies, I want a sequel, that's just greedy me speaking.
I wonder how he will pay her back "Took the beef jerky, I'll pay you back next time".
