I sat shocked, I couldn't even cry, I couldn't do anything but sit there. Wendy reached across and held my hands and spoke to me. "For every action, there is a reaction and consequences. Your action was to fall in love with Ann. The reaction was she fell in love with you and broke the promises she made to Lance. As painful as it is, take this as a life lesson.
After a few minutes I picked up my crash helmet and left feeling like an empty shell. I don't remember riding home all I could think about was how I could find Ann. Over the coming weeks I couldn't and she really was, gone.
All I had was some memories and the statement from Wendy - For every action, there is a reaction and consequences. I'd make sure to carry that next to my heart for the rest of my life.

JimmyThePlungerabout 1 month agoWhen I reached the end of part 1, I could happily have left it there as the egotistical cheating fireman was left devastated as he deserved to be for moving on another man's wife. However I'm happy to see there is more to come though I'm not overly fond of any of the characters at this point.
Still, a well written story and worth following, thanks so far. I'm always amused at people - usually American, pointing out spelling errors when they chose to adapt another language for their own, completely failing to see the irony of their comments. I'm glad you pointed out the story is written in English, not "American".
rnebular3 months agoI came here for erotica, and your writing is pretty good but the long drawn out first whole entire page of teasing was too much for me. Waaaaaay too long for just starting off. Thanks for sharing.
